ccTLDs stands for Country Code Top Level Domain. A TLD is the suffix found at the end of a web address. In www.youdot.io, the TLD is .io. Sub-categories for TLDs or called “ccTLDs” and are used for countries and territories as opposed to gTLD which are reserved for generic uses (.com, .edu…)
