HTML (HyperText Markup Language) is a standard tag language used to create document that can be displayed by web browsers. It can work in combination with other languages such as Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) or script languages such as JavaScript.

Web browsers read these HTML documents they get from an online server or local storage, and then translate it into a multimedia web page.
