What is a DNS record?

DNS is the abbreviation for Domain Name System. This system allows you to organize and identify domain names. Just as a phone book associates a name with the phone number to be dialed, the DNS system associates a web address such as "www.youdot.io" with the physical IP address of the server hosting the site.

From your domain management interface, you can choose to use Youdot's DNS servers, and in this case benefit from the customization of the DNS input records: A, AAAA, CNAME, SPF, TXT and MX.
